C.S. Osborne No. 251 Short-Jaw Canvas and Webbing Pliers

When to choose it
Choose the 251 if a rail, neighboring fabric or frame corner leaves limited room across the material you want to grip. Osborne specifies a 1½-inch jaw and an 8½-inch overall length. The body stays the same nominal length as the No. 250 while the jaw takes up less width.
The 250 uses a 3⅜-inch jaw, which gives you a wider contact option if the material edge is clear. For webbing that needs a pin tool to catch it close to the rail, also compare a gooseneck stretcher. Check which face can reach the strip while you attach it.
