Crescent lists the W20 as 10.375 inches overall with 4.75-inch blades. This distinction matters when you compare how much fabric fits between the blades with how much room your hand needs on the table.

Compare edges without changing size

Kai’s 7250 and 7250SE are both 250 mm. The SE adds a micro-serrated blade. This pair is useful when you want to compare edge behavior while keeping the same overall length.

Compare it when a slippery fabric shifts at the blades. The Kai 7250SE holds the overall size of the plain 7250 while adding a micro-serrated edge.

Can two lengths in the same series have the same blade reach?

Yes. Kai attributes the extra inch on the serrated 7250SE compared with the 7230SE to the handle.
